Samantha Noto is a dynamic and passionate dancer, singer, and performer based in New York City. A proud graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, she holds a BFA in Dance with a concentration in Jazz and a Minor in Business Management. Samantha specializes in all styles of jazz, including musical theater and precision jazz, and has cultivated strong technique and versatility through consistent training in ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. Her movement vocabulary also includes Afro Latin jazz, West African, break dancing, Lindy Hop/swing, soft shoe tap, and waacking.
Originally from Houston, Texas and raised in Springfield, Missouri, Samantha grew up in the world of competitive dance. As a studio competition dancer, she traveled to conventions and competitions across the country, building a strong stage presence and work ethic. She also discovered her love for mentorship while teaching and assisting at her home studio.
Samantha has performed in two Steps on Broadway Industry Showcases, featuring choreography by Katie Walker and Traci Reszetylo. Throughout college, she danced in Marymount Manhattan’s Dance Company, performing works by renowned artists such as Raja Feather Kelly, Tamisha Guy, Sekou McMiller, and Earl Mosley. Her on-camera credits include dancing in an R&B music video and a content dance video for Precision Dance Collective. At MMC, she trained with respected faculty and artists including Pedro Ruiz, Aaron Loux, Kim Craven, Sheila Barker, Geoffrey Doig-Marx, and Christina Carminucci.
Currently, Samantha works as a Flexologist at StretchLab on the Upper East Side, supporting clients in mobility and injury prevention—knowledge she also integrates into her dance practice. Known for her goal-driven mindset and infectious passion, she thrives on stage and loves connecting with audiences through performance.
When she’s not dancing, you can find Samantha exploring new restaurants and dessert spots, traveling to new cities, spending quality time with friends and family, or working at StretchLab. Whether in the studio, on stage, or out in the world, she brings energy, heart, and dedication to everything she does.
